ADA — If you are a woman, try answering this question: Whose health is more important: A) yours, B) your husband’s, C) your children’s? If your answer isn’t ‘A,’ then you need to make time for the American Heart Association’s “Go Red for Women Luncheon” on Friday at Pre-Paid Legal Services Liberty Auditorium, Ada, Oklahoma. Valley View Hospital is presenting sponsor.

Key note speaker is Chef Sara Branscum, a healthy heart chef, who will demonstrate how to cook healthy, tasty meals.

An additional featured speakers are Dr. Tim Metcalf and an inspirational story from survivor Dianne Majors.

A silent auction featuring a variety of items will be available to bid on.

“Women often think – wrongly – that breast cancer is their number one killer. In reality, heart disease kills more adult women than the next seven causes of death combined, including all cancers,” said Dianne Majors, “Women have many demands at home and at work. By taking care of ourselves, we can take better care of our families and be more productive in the work place.”
