ADA — Applications are now available for the 2006 Chickasaw Nation Summer Youth Program.

Native American youth ages 14-21 years by June 5, 2006 are eligible to apply for the program where they can gain valuable work experience and earn an average of more than $200 per week for the eight-week program.

To apply for the program, youth need to supply a Certificate of Degree of Indian Blood, proof of residence, income verification and Social Security card, as well as a recent report card, achievement test scores or transcript. Males 18 and older also need to supply a Selective Service number.

Deadline to return applications to area offices is 5 p.m. May 1.

Work sites will be assigned on a first-come, first-served basis for those who have completed the application.
