ADA — Applications are now available for the 2006 Chickasaw Nation Summer Youth Program.

Native American youth from 14 to 21 years of age by June 5, 2006, are eligible to apply for the program where they can gain valuable work experience and earn an average of more than $200 per week for the eight-week program.

To apply for the program, youth need to supply a Certificate of Degree of Indian Blood, proof of residence, income verification and social security card, as well as a recent report card, achievement test scores or transcript. Males 18 and older also need to supply a selective service number.

While the deadline to return applications to area offices is May 1, youth are encouraged to apply early.

Work sites will be assigned on a first-come, first-served basis for those who have completed the application.
