Six staff members of the Seminole Nation of Oklahoma that completed training provided by the Bureau of Indian Affairs recently were recognized March 27. Principal Chief Kelly Haney presented the certificates of completion during the Seminole Nation’s weekly directors meeting at the tribal complex in Wewoka. The “Basics in Self Determination Contract Administration Training” took place at the Eastern Oklahoma Regional Office located in Muskogee and involved the step-by-step procedures for writing contracts with the BIA.
