ADA — A wreck between two large trucks slowed traffic on “Latta Road” for a while Wednesday.

The wreck occurred when a box truck crashed into the back of a semi truck at the intersection of County Road 3544 (Latta Road) and CR 1550 (Reeves Road) just after 3 p.m.

Oklahoma Highway Patrol Trooper Alan Fortner said the driver of a FedEx semi was driving north on CR 3544 when he stopped to make a left turn onto CR 1550.

The box truck, driven north on CR 3544 by Keith Bigalow, 34, Savannah, rear-ended the semi.

Bigalow and the driver of the semi, Scotty Davis, 34, Moore,  were not injured but a passenger in Bigalow’s vehicle, Pierce Barnum, received a gash above his right eye. He was treated at the scene by Valley View EMS and declined a ride to the hospital.

Fortner said the cause of the wreck was inattention while driving.
