Three people were injured in a two-vehicle wreck just outside Ada Saturday.

The wreck occurred two miles east of Ada at the intersection of state Highway 1 and County Road 3610 just before 9 a.m.

Oklahoma Highway Patrol Trooper Keith Teel said 19-year-old Julie Dougherty of Allen was driving a 2007 GMC Sierra north on CR 3610 when she failed to yield the right of way to a 2010 Nissan Altima driven east on SH1 by 85-year-old Carlene Benson of Allen.

The two vehicles collided. Benson was taken by Valley View EMS to Valley View Regional Hospital then taken by Medi Flight to OU Medical Center in Oklahoma City and admitted with internal injuries. She was listed as stable.

Dougherty was taken by Valley View EMS to Valley View Regional Hospital, treated and released. A passenger in Benson’s vehicle, 90-year-old Roland Benson of Allen, was taken to Valley View Regional Hospital and admitted with internal injuries. He was listed as stable.
