ADA — The Salvation Army Women’s Auxiliary will host its Annual Silver Tea Friday, Dec. 3, in the recently completed home of Ed and Judy Anderson, 314 Larsh Lane, south of Oak HIlls Golf and Country Club off of Crownpoint. The tea will run from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m. with refreshments and musical entertainment offered throughout the day.
Featured in the crafts sale will be elegant holiday wreaths, all-occasion centerpieces and small Christmas arrangements created by auxiliary member sand priced for every budget. Tea attendees will also have an opportunity to stock up on holiday cookies, breads and cakes, along with other specialty items such as homemade sauces and candy.
There is no admission charge, but tax-deductible donations are accepted. Guests are encouraged to attend early in the day for the best choice of Christmas decorations and specialty food items donated by local crafters and expert cooks.
Proceeds from the fundraiser will provide food, toys and other necessities to Ada-area families in need during the holiday season.
Free park and ride service will be available at Oak Hills Golf and Country Club tennis courts parking lot. A shuttle will run continuously between the parking lot and the event.
