The fall softball season came to an end for the Roff Lady Tigers on Friday as they dropped a 5-2 decision to Rock Creek and went 2-2 in Class A regional play.
Roff opened regional play on Thursday with a 13-5 loss to Weleetka.
The Lady Tigers actually outhit Weleetka, 14-6, but left the bases loaded in the third, fourth and fifth innings.
Kaylea Riley went 3-for-5 and scored a run while Ashley Cornell (2-for-3 with two runs scored), Tori Brown (2-for-4 with one RBI and one run scored) and Breecia Crawford (2-for-4) also had multiple hits.
Kendall Sanford took the pitching loss after allowing just six hits. But Weleetka was helped by five Lady Tiger errors.
Roff bounced back with an 11-2 rout of Allen as Sanford allowed just four hits.
Sanford and Crawford each went 2-for-3 from the plate, as Sanford knocked in five runs and scored once while Crawford doubled once and scored four runs. Teammates Lauren Trimmer and Jalee Hood were each 2-for-4. Trimmer doubled twice and scored two runs, and Hood picked up one RBI and scored once.
The Lady Tigers avenged an earlier regional loss with a 5-1 decision over Weleetka as Sanford gave up just three hits.
For Roff, Cornell went 1-for-2 with a double and drove in two runs, and Kaylea Riley was 1-for-2 and scored once. Trimmer went 1-for-3 with a double and one RBI as the Lady Tigers ended up with six hits.
In the finale, Rock Creek overcame a 2-0 deficit with three runs in the fourth and two more in the fifth.
Trimmer went 3-for-3 with two doubles and a run scored for Roff, which finished with six hits. Sanford and Cornell were each 1-for-3 with one RBI.
The Lady Tigers finished the season with a 23-12 record.
