TISHOMINGO — The artwork of Ardmore artist Rick Freeman is on display in December and January at the Margaret Lokey Fine Arts Building on the Murray State College campus.

Freeman has been involved in art for 25 years. He began his journey in art working in what is called assembly sculpture art in which he would take pieces of materials he found and attach them to a plywood backing.

Freeman’s exhibit at MSC has approximately 50 pieces of work, of which 40 pieces are jar art. The remaining pieces are paintings and collages.

The Lokey building is open Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m. when the college is open.
