ADA — The Pontotoc County Agri-plex Convention Center will be come an array of color and art as the Pontotoc County Home and Community Education Association nd the Busy Hands Quilters Guild will be holding their annual quilt show April 28-29 in the convention center of the agri-plex.

The show is open to the pubic and anyone who would like to enter a quilt may do so. To enter, take your quilts to the agri-plex on Wednesday, April 26 from 10 a.m. until 7 p.m. Categories to enter in are applique’, pieced, embroidered, rag quilts, mixed technique, first quilt, baby quilt and junior quilt (15 and under), miniature quilts (blocks under 4 inches) and quilted home deco.

Exhibits may be viewed on Friday, April 28, from 9 a.m. until 6 p.m. and on Saturday, April 29, from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m.

Demonstrations will be held throughout the quilt show with both local and visiting talent teaching various quilting skills. A complete schedule of demonstrations will be published closer to the show, sponsors say.

Fifteen booths with both craft and quilting supplies will be on hand at the quilt show.

Admission for the quilt show is $1, which will also include you in the drawing for a hand-made quilt that will be given away the last day of the show.
