ADA — In honor of Law Day, several Pontotoc County attorneys and members of the Pontotoc County Bar Association, promoted this year's Law Day theme, “Empowering Youth, Assuring Democracy” when they spoke at area schools during the weeks of April 13 through May 11.

The attorneys visited Roff Junior High, Vanoss Junior High and Ada Junior High and spoke to students about the law, court structure, the legal profession, and the education required to become an attorney. The students were very engaging and sparked spirited discussion on various legal topics.

Attorneys speaking included Jennifer Barnes, Charlotte Claborn, Deresa Gray Clark, Jason Christopher, Keywood Deese, Brian Morris, Rob Neal, Casey Saunders, Kaycie Sheppard, David Smith and Joel Stafford.
