ADA — Dr. David Cingranelli, professor of political science at the University of New York, Binghamton, whose research is focused on comparative human rights practice of governments, will speak at two free public events Wednesday and Thursday, Oct. 25-26, at East Central University.

He will answer questions following the showing of the PBS program “Ghosts of Rwanda” which will begin at 7 p.m. Wednesday in the Estep Multimedia Center in the University Center.

He is visiting E.C.U. as part of a five-day class on Human Rights and World Politics, part of the Oklahoma’s Scholar-Leadership Enrichment Program. OLEP is an intercollegiate, interdisciplinary program designed to develop the scholarship and leadership abilities of Oklahoma’s outstanding college and university students. The program is sponsored by the Oklahoma State Regents for Higher Education and administered by the University of Oklahoma.
