ADA—The new year is approaching and as Ada residents recover from the caloric overload and spending frenzy of Christmas, some are making resolutions to stay healthy and spend less.
Ann Miller of Ada Area Chamber of Commerce said she has set some resolutions for the new year.
“I’m going to eat healthy, lose weight and save more money,” Miller said. She said she has a few tricks for those who worry about achieving the resolutions they set.
“If your goal is to lose weight, don’t say, ‘I’m going to lose 50 pounds by March.’ Set small, manageable goals,” she said. “That way, you can see progress. Keep it positive. Say, ‘I want to eat healthy,’ instead of, ‘I don’t want to eat junk food.’”
