Christmas musical “Mooseltoe” will be showing starting Dec. 11 at Hallie Brown Ford Fine Arts Center.
“It is about a moose that wants to be a reindeer,” said Brenda Gilstrap, Pontotoc County tourism and marketing director. “It’s a kids’ musical.”
Gilstrap said the musical will be performed by Main Street Artists out of St. Louis, Mo. She said proceeds from this year’s Taste of Ada went to help lower ticket costs to the event. Orscheln’s and Pepsi helped keep ticket prices low.
“We really worked hard to keep the tickets down where people could afford them,” Gilstrap said. Tickets can be purchased for $10 at Gem Jewelers. Shows will be at 3 and 7 p.m.
Gilstrap said a coat and toy drive would be held at HBFFAC before the musical.
“We have teamed up with Service Automall and from 1 to 3 p.m. we’re doing a coat and toy drive,” Gilstrap said.
