A Maud man was killed in a two-vehicle collision Monday morning in Pottawatomie County.
Robert Hopper, 43, was pronounced dead at the scene due to massive injuries, according to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol. His passenger, 18-year-old Koby Colber of Rim Rock, Ariz., was taken to Baptist Hospital in Oklahoma City and admitted in critical condition with head, leg and internal trunk injuries.
A hospital staffer said Tuesday she could not release any information about Colber’s condition.
The other driver, 37-year-old Tonia Kuehn of Ada, was taken to OU Medical Center in Oklahoma City. She was admitted in critical condition with head, leg and internal injuries.
Updated information about her condition was not available Tuesday.
Kuehn was eastbound on SH 19 when her 2001 Ford Crown Victoria crossed the center line, striking Hopper’s 2001 Chevrolet Tracker, according to the OHP.
The Highway Patrol was still investigating the wreck as of Monday evening.
