ADA — Chickasaw AARP chapter 4113 met Sept. 21 at the senior site on Chamber Loop.

Jeanie Coplin led the meeting and introduced the speaker, Dr. John Garber from Carl Albert Indian Health Facility. Garber began by performing a card trick with a deck of playing cards. Something was wrong with his electronic equipment so he could not show the pictures he had intended to show.

He presented a very detailed and comical description of his problem in obtaining a passport for his son when they were scheduled to go on an overseas trip.

Bernice Patrick gave the secretary’s report and Ruthie Ellis gave the treasurer’s report.

There were 23 attending the meeting.

The next meeting is Oct. 19.
