ADA — Lee’s Pharmacy and Gifts in Ada merged with Drug Warehouse in late November. Lee Ross, owner of Lee’s Pharmacy and Gifts, and his staff made the move to their new location at 1331 Arlington (May’s Drug Warehouse) Nov. 28.

“All pharmacy records from Lee’s were transferred to Drug Warehouse,” said Ross.

Zachary’s and the gift portion of Lee’s Pharmacy and Gifts are closing within a few weeks, according to Ross. “We have everything discounted and hope to have the store closed by Christmas,” he said.

Ross purchased the pharmacy in 1994 from Ben Steen. Brothers Billy and Joe Bryan built the pharmacy in its present location in the 1950s and operated it until selling it to Steen.

Within the first year of ownership, Ross added gift items to the store. Zachary’s was added approximately two years ago according to Ross.
