LATTA — New students who are residents of Latta School district (pre-kindergarten through sixth grade) will enroll Aug. 3 from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. at the elementary office. New students must take proof of residency in the district, as well as the name and address of last school attended.
New students in grades 7-12 enroll from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. Aug. 3. Students must take transcript from previous school and provide proof of residence.
All students who attended Latta Elementary (pre-kindergarten through fifth grade) last school year will enroll Aug. 4 from noon until 6 p.m. at the elementary office. High school and junior high students (grades 7-12) who attended Latta School last school year enroll from noon until 6 p.m. Aug. 4. All students who have had new immunizations should take updated immunization records.
Pre-kindergarten and kindergarten students who have not attended a public school, must take their birth certificate, immunization records, CDIB card if applicable and proof of residency if residing within the district.
A readiness screening and/or a speech and hearing screening for pre-kindergarten and kindergarten students may also be scheduled at the time of enrollment. Parents should be prepared to make time for these screenings.
Athletic physicals will be conducted at 6 p.m. Aug. 1 in the junior high school lobby for girls and 6 p.m. Aug. 2 for boys.
Students must be accompanied by a parent or guardian at enrollments and physicals.
Ninth grade students and parents or guardians will meet in the cafeteria at 6 p.m. Aug. 4 for orientation and enrollment. Curriculum requirements and graduation and scholarship information will be discussed.
