ADA — Members of the Kansas Law Enforcement Training Center visited the CLEET K.O. Rayburn Training Center in Ada on Wednesday. The Kansas officials received a tour of the new facility and are preparing plans for a Law Enforcement Driver Training course, dormitories, and gymnasium at their facility located near Hutchinson.

During the visit, the Kansas officials met with CLEET staff members Chris Sutterfield, Jason Harjo, and Bill Bullard to ask questions regarding the operation of the facility and the training that takes place. They were especially interested in the LEDT training that is conducted and how the new driving course and facilities have enhanced the instruction.

Correspondence between the Oklahoma and Kansas training officials will continue as cooperative efforts are sought to advance law enforcement training at each state facility.
