ADA — KADA Cable One Agri-plex “Halloween Safe House” is Tuesday, Oct. 31. In conjunction with this event, the city of Ada has also set official Trick-or-Treat night for the same evening.

The Halloween Safe House, started by KADA, 17 years ago, was established to provide kids with a safe environment for trick-or-treating. It has grown into one of the largest single events in the area, attracting an average attendance of 4,500 people. Candy and other safe treats are provided by more than 45 participating merchants, civic groups and other entities.

KADA General Manager Roger Harris states, “The Halloween Safe House is an award-winning event for us and the community, and we’re are proud to be able to continue such a worthy activity.”

The Halloween Safe House has received accolades from several state agencies and statewide media, including a community service award from the Oklahoma Association of Broadcasters and recognition by the Department of Human Services.

The Safe House will open promptly at 6 p.m. and close promptly at 8 p.m. Admission is free.
