4-H project

Olivia Hamilton presents City of Ada Lifeguard Aaron Wallace with a safety rescue tube for Glenwood Pool. This is just one part of Hamilton’s 4-H safety project. Kiwanis Guard Start members Tracy McKibben and Mikayla Bray helped in the fund raising for the project. Hamilton has partnered with Latta DECA and Kiwanis Safe Swim Guard Start program to raise money to buy updated safety equipment for the swimming pool. Hamilton is currently raising money to buy a new spine board and immobilizer for Glenwood Pool. Updating the equipment and making the pool a safer place is her goal. Anyone interested in joining Hamilton may contact Latta DECA at 580-332-3553 or Pontotoc County 4-H at 580-332-2153.
