ADA — Five area men ranging in age from 19 to 51, were arrested Friday evening on multiple drug charges after Ada Police Department Narcotics Investigators raided two suspicious units in a local apartment complex.

Sources said prior to the raids, police had received reports suggesting illegal drug activity within the complex located at the 1100 block of E. 18th Street.

Following an investigation into the reports, officers raided both apartments simultaneously and seized methamphetamine, marijuana, and various drug paraphernalia.

Jonathan D. Eager, 32, Ada, was arrested on charges for the suspicion of possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, and maintaining a house resorted to by users of controlled dangerous substance.

Bob D. Aubrey, 51, Ada, was arrested on charges for the suspicion of endeavoring to possess a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Michael G. Anderson, 19, Ada, was arrested on charges for the suspicion of possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, possession of drug paraphernalia, and maintaining a house resorted to by users of controlled dangerous substance.

Michael S. Barnes, 19, Bethany, was arrested on charges for the suspicion of possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Quenzell L. Allen, 20, Wynnewood, was arrested on charges for the suspicion of possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Sources said investigators anticipate the arrest of at least two more individuals in connection with this investigation.

According to Assistant Chief of Police Major Carl Allen, the Narcotics Unit is a fairly new addition to the Ada Police Department with less than six months as an operating division.

"We identified the need in the community for this division and with the help of city officials were able to go forth with the new program," Allen said.

Allen said in less than three weeks, APD narcotics investigators have apprehended and arrested 19 individuals on drug related charges.

Assisting the APD Narcotics Unit in the recent busts were Ada Police Officers, the District Attorney's Drug Task Force and Lighthorse Police Officers, reports said.
