ADA — East Central University is sponsoring a study trip for 14 days in May 2007 to experience beautiful and historic central Europe. The group will fly into Berlin and visit the remains of the Berlin Wall, the Brandenburg Gate and the Checkpoint Charlie Museum.

After an excursion to Potsdam the group will go on to Dresden and tour the Zwinger Museum and then continue on to Prague. While in Prague they will visit the celebrate Prague Castle (Hradcany), St. Vitus Cathedral and roam the same streets that Kafka strolled.

Next the trip will continue on to Budapest, the capital of Hungary, the heart of Carpathain Basin and flecked with natural thermal springs. Budapest has attracted nomadic cultures for centuries. From Budapest the group will travel to Vienna and will tour the gothic cathedral, St. Stephens and Schonbrunn Palace. On the way to Munich the group will stop in Salzburg where “The Sound of Music” was filmed. The tour will end in the city of Heidelburg, the site of the oldest university that dates back to 1386.
