ADA — The Department of Public Safety is announcing that the driver license testing operation in Ada moved to the Pontotoc Technology Center June 5.

“We are excited about our new partnership with the Career Technology Center,” said Karen Gentry, state director, Driver License Testing. “This is a win/win situation for our agency, Career Tech and the individuals of Ada and the surrounding communities. The new location will have added space for testing along with additional parking.”

Supervisor over the Ada Office John Wayne Smith stated that he is excited with the move to the new location and the ability to provide additional days of service.

Testing services have been expanded from three days to five days a week from 7 a.m. to 4:45 p.m. Commercial driver license skills testing will be offered by appointment only.
