Carrie Wiggs, Oklahoma 2-1-1 statewide coordinator, detailed the new program of Southeastern Oklahoma, to members of the Ada Regional United Way recently. The Ada-based program kicked off in 14 rural counties Feb. 1. Providing free 24-hour telephone access, Oklahoma’s first rural 2-1-1 call center, here in Ada, is designed to help individuals and families in need of social, health and government services and programs.
