DUNCAN — Democrats from the counties within the Oklahoma 4th Congressional District will travel to Duncan Saturday for the "2006 Campaign on the Trail." The event is hosted by the Stephens County Democrats and is a campaign rally for the Democratic office holders and candidates of Oklahoma's state-wide offices.

Stephens County Fairgrounds and Expo Center will be the site for the rally which will begin at 3 p.m.  The facility is located on the southern edge of Duncan, just east of State Highway 81.

Gov. Brad Henry will address the crowd at 4 p.m.  Others who have confirmed their presence include candidates for Lt. Governor Pete Regan and Representative Jari Askins, Auditor Jeff McMahan, Treasurer Scott Meacham, candidates for Labor Commissioner Lloyd Fields and Senator Frank Shurden, State Supt. Sandy Garrett, candidate for Corporation Commission Cody Graves, and representatives of Attorney General Drew Edmondson and Insurance Commissioner Kim Holland. 

Organizers have also invited members of the Oklahoma Legislature who have legislative districts within the counties represented in the 4th Congressional District or are among the legislative leadership. 

Counties in the 4th Congressional District are Carter, Cleveland, Comanche, Cotton, Garvin, Grady, Jefferson, Love, Marshall, McClain, Murray, Pontotoc, Stephens, Tillman, and small portions of Canadian and Oklahoma County.
