JEFF DALLEN - Ada, Oklahoma

The Homer Elementary School teacher who was arrested Tuesday on suspicion of child molestation has reportedly confessed.

Jeff Dallen, 48, a music teacher at the school located at 1400 N. Monte Vista, admitted to “touching” the victim on several instances, according to a court affidavit filed by Detective Kathi Johnston.

According to the affidavit, the alleged victim was taken to the Ada CARE Cottage after telling a relative about a molestation.

The victim told officials the incidents happened at the school when other students were watching a movie in the music room.

After interviewing the alleged victim, Dallen was asked to come to the police station for an interview.

“During the interview, Dallen stated there were two other victims that he had molested at the school,” Johnston said in the affidavit.

Dallen reportedly told police the molestations started in Nov. 2007 before the Thanksgiving break. He said the last incident happened this October.

He was later arrested by Ada police and sheriff’s deputies.

Dallen has been a teacher at Homer for four years and has also taught at Stonewall and Roff schools.

Although the investigation is ongoing, police expect charges to be filed in Pontotoc County District Court.

Byng Superintendent Todd Crabtree released a statement Wednesday.

“We intend to fully cooperate with authorities in this continuing investigation,” Crabtree said. “The protection and safety of each and every student is our top priority.”

Dallen is being held on a $100,000 bond.
