Shelly Wall, Chickasaw, represented the Chickasaw Nation and Oklahoma at the Miss Indian World Pageant at the annual Gathering of Nations Powwow in Albuquerque, N.M., April 26 – 29.

Wall, who served as the 2004-2005 Chickasaw princess, competed against ladies across the United States, Canada and Mexico in a variety of categories including traditional talent, dance, personal interview and public speaking. A panel of 25 judges will be a part of the selection process for the competition.

Wall is a junior at East Central University in Ada, majoring in communications, and a 2001 graduate of Ardmore High School. She is the daughter of Stephen Wall and Linda Greenwood, and the granddaughter of Peter and Gale Wall, Mary Loise Wall and Geraldine and the late Virgil Greenwood.
