ADA — Jeff Case captured almost 80 percent of the ballots and was elected to the Byng School District Board in the annual school election Tuesday, according to the Pontotoc County Election Board.

Case defeated Shelly Cole 374-96.

Karon Hedges defeated two opponents in the race for the Roff School Board slot.

Hedges received 147 votes, while James Cornell had 44 and Chris Bacon finished with 20.

At Stratford, Rick Griffin received almost 82 percent of the ballots and defeated James Waller 76-17, according to officials at the Garvin County Election Board.
