NORMAN — Calvin High School graduate Jordan Carlton was recently named to PE-ET, the University of Oklahoma’s top 10 senior organization. PE-ET is a historical honor society at OU that began in 1910 and traditionally chooses the top ten seniors during their junior year. Selection criteria is based on grades, scholarship, leadership and campus involvement. Jordan was selected as on of the top 10 for his senior year.

Jordan graduated from Calvin in 2004. He is the son of Robert and Becky Carlton of Calvin. He is the grandson of Elvin Lindley, Stuart; and the late Wanda Lindley and Bettye Carlton, Norman; and the late Bob Carlton.

Jordan recently finished his junior year at the University of Oklahoma and is pursuing a double major in international business and marketing and a minor in Spanish. He has stayed extremely active on OU’s campus throughout his college career. Jordan is currently involved in numerous campus events, such as Camp Crimson, OU’s annual orientation camp, on which he is serving on the camp’s staff. He was also named the Chair of Camp Activities Council’s High School Leadership Conference for the coming year. He is an active member of Phi Delta Theta fraternity and has served as the Director of the OU Cousins Program, a program which pairs an American student with an international student, for the past year.

He will continue his involvement in both positions for the coming year. In addition to PE-ET, Jordan was also recently awarded as Big Man on Campus.
