It’s time to sign up to play in or to sponsor the Seventh Annual Valley View Foundation Benefit Classic.  The charity golf tournament supports the regional hospital and will be held Saturday, Aug. 27, at Oak Hills Golf and Country Club in Ada.

Tee times for this four-person best shot format begin as early as 7:15 a.m. Time slots are still available; only 99 players may participate and sponsors say slots are being filled fast.

Prizes like a hole-in-one on number nine for a 2011 Convertible Camaro sponsored by Service Automall will be awarded. There are three other hole-in-one prizes plus closest to the pin on hole 13 and long drive champion on hole 18 that includes super golf trips to TPC courses, Callaway clubs and more.  The top two scramble teams will win WinStar Golf Academy Packages that focus on seven disciplines to improve any player’s game.  Every participant receives a $50 Callaway gift card so everyone is a winner.

If you are not a golfer join the cause at Steaks & Stakes beginning at 6 p.m. in the Oak Hills Banquet Room on the second level of the Country Club. Event includes a life DJ. A rib eye steak buffet will be served from 6-7 p.m. for $60 per person or $150 a couple.
