The faces on the Ada City Council did not change this year and neither did the council's elected leadership. During the annual council installation luncheon Monday at East Central University, Municipal Judge Jim Kemp administered the oath of office to Ward 2 representative Frank Stout and Ward 4 representative Barbara Young. Both were re-elected to two-year terms in March. The council re-elected Ward 1 representative Donna York to serve as mayor in 2006-2007 and Stout will continue as vice mayor for another year. After being appointed to fulfill a vacated seat in the fall of 2003, Stout is starting his second full term as a council member. Young is beginning her third consecutive term – and fifth overall.
