• Ada First Baptist Church Bread of Life Ministry offers a free meal to those in the community who are in need. The meal is served from 5:30-6:30 p.m. the third Thursday of each month in the church dining room, 521 S. Broadway Ave., Ada. For more information, call 580-332-4121.

• Pontotoc County Farm Bureau Women’s Committee will have its Open House for Farm Bureau Week Friday, Feb. 21, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and will serve refreshments.

• Pontotoc County Retired Educators Association will meet Friday, Feb. 21, 2014 at 11 a.m. at Ada Elks Lodge for its regular monthly meeting and noon luncheon. Edna Mae Cooley will oversee nomination of officers; Dr. William Lyon will present a program on rocks, minerals and fossils in Oklahoma. All retired education and support personel are encouraged to attend.

• American Legion Post 72 hosts bingo each Saturday night. Mini games begin at 6 p.m. and regular bingo begins at 7 p.m. Snack bar items are available.
