Annual Golf event set Aug. 8 in Ada

Mercy Health System of Oklahoma - St. Joseph Church Fifth Annual Golf Tournament is Monday, Aug. 8 at Oak Hills Golf and Country Club in Ada. Shotgun start is at 8:30 a.m.

The tournament format is a four-person scramble with a modified handicap. Entry fee is $120 and includes snacks and beverages on the course. In addition, golfers will enjoy a luncheon and live auction at St. Joseph Church Benedictine Hall following play.

Deadline for entries is Friday, Aug. 5.

Mercy Health System of Oklahoma is the tournament’s title sponsor. Mercy is a Catholic health care organization with whom Ada’s Valley View Regional Hospital is affiliated.

“We appreciate Mercy’s support of the tournament, the proceeds of which help pay for our church youth facility and daily Mass chapel,” said the Rev. Rusty Hewes, pastor of St. Jospeh Church.

Pick up an entry form at Oak Hills pro shop or St. Joseph Church office, 1300 E. Beverly.
