LATTA — Kahla White, Keisha Williams and Sierra Gray, members of Latta FFA Chapter of Ada, competed in the National FFA Agriscience Fair program.

The event was held during the 80th National FFA Convention in Indianapolis, Ind., Oct. 24-27. Participants from 40 associations defended their projects against other entries for judging in 20 divisions.

Gray’s project, Alleopathic Impact of Medicago Sativa Leachate on Root Nodule Development and Elongation in Trifolium repens, Williams’ project, The Effect of the Addition of Aluminum Sulfate on Nutrient Leaching from Poultry Litter, and White’s project, The Endocrine Disrupting Effects of 17, B-Estradiol and Ethinylestradid on Diesophila Melanogastor, were on display at convention in the National FFA Agriscience Fair area of the FFA National Agricultural Career Show.
