ADA — “Essentials for Small Business” will be the topic of a day-long small business workshop being held in Ada this month, according to Barbara Rackley, coordinator of the Rural Women’s Business Center at Rural Enterprises of Oklahoma, Inc.

The workshop is from 9 a.m. until 2:30 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 16 at the Pontotoc County Agri-plex, 1700 N. Broadway in Ada.

Registration fee of $5 covers the cost of lunch. RSVP must be made to Lori Smith at (800) 658-2823 by Feb. 13.

“Although this is an informative forum specifically planned for women entrepreneurs, all business owners are invited to attend,” said Rackley.   “This is a great opportunity to hear topics designed to introduce entrepreneurs and developing small business owners to topics that are vital to the successful operation of a business.

The workshop is sponsored by OSU Cooperative Extension, Ada Chamber of Commerce, Pontotoc Technology Center, and REI's Women's Business Center.  The RWBC is sponsored in part by the U.S. Small Business Administration.
