Armed with two handfuls of medals, ECU Dean of Students Bronson Warren makes a return to Ada High to award winners in the ECU Interscholastic meet. Warren was the highly-successful band director at AHS for many years. ADA - Ada High scholars took second place behind Plainview in the East Central University Interscholastic meet held Feb. 9. Ada had 58 points to Plainview’s 98 winning total and Byng had 50 for third place.

The following students placed at the East Central Interscholastic Meet: First place went to Spanish II - Channing Solon, Accounting – Drew Burkhart, Algebra I – Cali Stenson, Algebra II – Ryan Burkhart, Computer Programming – Ryan Adams, and Family Relations – Shyla Sanders.

Ada also had five runners-up, Biology – Cole Townsend, French I – Caroline Harris, French II – Ben Krause, Geography – Jackson Boone, Graphic Design – Dakota Deramus and Economics – Connor Mayhue.

Third place awards went to Psychology – Taryn Haney, Sentence Error – Alyssa Low, Spelling – Alyssa Low, TV Broadcasting – Jourdan Waddell, American History – Colton Lott, American Literature – Robert Jackson, Clothing/Textile – Chelsea Walker, Drawing – Hunter Braly, Economics – Haley Ray and General Business – Ashley Lewis.
