The Ada High Performing Arts class will present its spring variety show on Friday, at 7 p.m. in the Ada Cougar Activity Center Auditorium.
Entitled “I Gotta Feelin,’” this show will include a variety of acts including skits, dance, instrumental solos, and singing. Many of the students will accompany themselves on piano and guitar.
Songs range from country to pop, performed by solos, duets, and small groups.
In addition, the Performing Arts class will sing the energetic “I Gotta Feelin’” as well as the soulful ballad “Open Arms.”
The show is directed by Angie Dean and Janet Humphrey, both of whom agree that this is one of the most talented group of students that they have had in their 10 years as directors of Ada High’s Performing Arts class as evidenced by the success of the fall musical “The Wizard of Oz.”
Admission is $5 for adults and $3 for students and tickets are available at the door.
Ticket receipts will be used to partially fund next year’s Performing Arts class. The community's support will be appreciated.
