ADA — The 10th annual Halliburton retiree’s reunion was recently held in Pauls Valley. The reunion was organized by Pauls Valley residents Port Schnorrenberg and the late Bill Post with 45 retirees in attendance.

The 117 Halliburton employees and spouses attending the reunion represented a total of 2, 532 years of service to the company. Ada residents attending the reunion were Newt and Mary Steele, Dorothy Mullins and Ravia resident Chester Sims. Newt Steele and Sims had a combined total of 59 years of service to Halliburton. The employee with the most years of service was Opal Wilson, Duncan, with 53 years and still employed. The oldest retiree was 100-year-old Ambert Page, Marietta, who still drives and mows his own yard.
