The Ada Area Chamber of Commerce recently launched a new mobile phone application called FindAda. This app is designed to better connect current and next generation customers with local businesses. The Find Ada App launched last month and received nearly 600 downloads within the first week.

The app showcases Chamber business members and also includes an entire section about City of Ada services and information. It offers Ada residents the ability to pay a utility bill or traffic ticket, watch a live stream of city council meetings, see maps to all parks in the city of Ada and links to all city departments.

Karen Hudson, president and CEO of Ada Area Chamber of Commerce, stated, “Every business listed on the app is a member of Ada Area Chamber of Commerce, so they’re local and reputable.” On the new hand-held community portal, area residents can find information about places to eat, shop, stay, and play, as well as resources for residential life in Ada.

With the Find Ada app, users will have up-to-date information about area events.

“One of the best features of the new app is the community calendar,” said Hudson. “We hope it will be the go-to place for what’s going on in our community because anyone can submit an event to be listed on the app.” she added.

There’s also a fun feature for users to take a selfie, choose one of four Ada landmarks as a background, customize the text and share it as an electronic postcard.

All Ada-area residents are encouraged to download and utilize the app, which can be found in the App Store or Google Play Store as FindAda. For more information about the app or to have a business listing on it, contact the Chamber at (580) 332-2506.
