The Cotton Patch Cafe, at 1529 Hoppe Blvd. in Ada, is set to open for business at 11 a.m. Tuesday, April 25.

The Texas-based “scratch-made Southern food” restaurant chain Cotton Patch Cafe will officially open its Ada location at 11 a.m. Tuesday, April 25.

The 25-year-old chain of family restaurants’ Ada location is expected to create more than 60 new jobs in the Ada area.

“Our new Ada restaurant is the second Oklahoma location to open so far this year,” Cotton Patch Cafe Chief Executive Officer Kathy Nelson said in an email. “We look forward to introducing the people of Ada to our delicious comfort foods and the Southern hospitality that has made us the hometown brand we are today.”

The 4,500-square-foot restaurant seats up to 156 guests in a “modern-meets-rustic dining room” that includes a full bar. The menu will feature Southern favorites including chicken fried steak, chicken tenders, crispy fried catfish, delicious aged steaks, premium salads and decadent desserts, like the chain’s signature Dr. Pepper cake.

The Cotton Patch Cafe will be open for lunch and dinner from 11 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday, from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Friday and Saturday and from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sundays at 1529 Hoppe Blvd. in Ada.
