HOLDENVILLE — The Holdenville Society of Painters and Sculptors will be holding its Spring Art Show Sunday, April 30 from 1:30-3 p.m. The event is made possible by grants from the Oklahoma Arts Council and the National Endowment of the Arts. Art work on display will include both professional and amateur in oil, acrylic, watercolor, graphic/drawing/pastels/colored pencil, sculpture in wood and metal or clay, photography and fiber art.

The show will also have student levels in four divisions including kindergarten through third grade, fourth through sixth grade, seventh through ninth grade and tenth through twelfth grade. Prizes will be given for Adult Professional Art Best of Show, Amateur Best of Show, first place in each category and second place in each category.

Interested artists may enter their work at the HSPS Art Center at 118 North Broadway, Holdenville, Wednesday, April 26 starting at 9 a.m. For more information, phone the center at 405-379-7079.
