The Gospel Station Network 88.3 and 105.1 FM  present “DINO in Concert -- One Night Only” Saturday, Feb. 22, at 7 p.m. at the McSwain Theatre in Ada.

“This will be an amazing night of entertainment and inspiration with America’s Piano Showman from Branson, Mo.,” said Randall Christy, president of The Gospel Station.

World-class pianist Dino Kartsonakis has been a performer on the world stages since 1963 with his first album. Not only has he graced the stages of the likes of Carnegie Hall, but his own theatre in Branson. He is currently featured in the concerts called “The Big 3: Dino, Larnelle Harris and Sandi Patty."

“We are honored to bring Dino to Ada,” Christy said. “He’s an exceptional talent, and he and his wife have a heart for ministry of bringing the Good News of Jesus everywhere they go. Their love, dedication to their talents, and their level of excellence combine to bring a most amazing experience. Audiences love them. We’re expecting a sold-out show.”

His amazing performances have made him a two-time Grammy nominee and winner for “Chariots of Fire” and his album “Miracles,” as well as a winner of eight Dove Awards (Gospel Music Assoc.) for Instrumentalist of the Year. Over his 50 years in music and ministry on stages, in churches, huge arenas and on TV shows and TBN, he has recorded 43 albums, including the famous “Peace” series.

Dino’s performances are known for arrangements that merge the best of well-known Christian and inspirational songs with famous passages of classical music and a flair for the dramatic that produces an experience that raises the inspiration of his audiences.

“Of all the themes I enjoy on the piano, love is my favorite,” Dino says. His performances will include renditions of songs like “Majesty,” “Chariots of Fire,” and “My Tribute.”

Dino’s beautiful wife, Cheryl Kartsonakis, will join him by the piano with her singing and speaking that complements his playing. Also joining him on stage will be award-winning Southern Gospel quartet Southern SONlight.

His personable way with the audience brings them in for a time where both the performer and audience are enjoying the music together.

Tickets are general admission, available at the Box Office, as well as at online store or by calling 1-800-557-8815 during business hours.

Dino’s CDs will be available at the show. In addition, he will have specialty cakes using his own recipe that are part of his 24Karrot cake and cafe company in Branson and in all Nieman Marcus stores.
