Ada City Schools patrons gave the district the green light Tuesday to issue approximately $2.59 million in bonds for technology upgrades and other projects.

The district put two separate bond issues — one for $2.03 million and one for $565,000 — on the ballot. Both measures passed easily, with Proposition 1 garnering 79.50 percent of the vote and Proposition 2 picking up 78.19 percent.

School bond issues must garner at least 60 percent of the vote in order to pass.
