“Nikki will live and endure forever in the hearts and minds of the fortunate recipients of the Nikki Stonecipher Memorial Scholarship,” Turpen said. “Her legacy will be in the lives we touch with this scholarship fund.”
As in the past, this year’s event is a four-person scramble format with a shotgun start beginning at noon. Sponsorship fees are $1,000 for the four-person team and there will be an awards presentation at the end of the day.
More than 30 sponsors have contributed to the 9th annual event, including financial institutions, service providers, institutions, individuals and provider law firms now with LegalShield and formerly Pre-Paid Legal Services.
Jack Morgeson, a partner with one provider law firm, North Florida-based deBeaubien, Knight, Simmons, Mantzaris & Neal, LLP, commented on the firm’s ongoing support as an event sponsor.
“Personally, and on behalf of deBeaubien, Knight, Simmons, Mantzaris & Neal, it is a great honor to be associated with and support such a worthy and positive event. We consider it a privilege to be associated with the Stoneciphers, LegalShield and everyone involved in providing young people with the opportunity to further their education and to enhance their future,” Morgeson said.
From the very beginning Harland and Shirley Stonecipher have been active supporters of Nikki Stonecipher Memorial Scholarship and the Annual Golf Scramble. In this the ninth year, they have shared a personal message with all those who sponsor and support these efforts.
“It is with great pride and gratitude that we acknowledge the growth of the Nikki Stonecipher Memorial Scholarship and Golf Scramble. We appreciate the efforts of the sponsors, supporters and friends who have contributed to this scholarship program. We are so very proud of the deserving recipients of the scholarship awards. And perhaps most of all, we want to express our gratitude to everyone who has honored the memory of our granddaughter through the Nikki Stonecipher Memorial Scholarship.”
