NOTEWORTHY: Tarin Dubler drained six 3-pointers and finished with a game-high 30 points as the Class B 14th-ranked Asher Lady Indians notched their 20th win to close out the 2013-14 regular season with a 76-43 rout of host Strother. Joining Dubler in double figures were Shelby Fleming and Haley Odell with 18 each. Fleming also recorded five blocked shots. Tristan Milburn dished out a whopping 12 assists for Asher. The Lady Indians opened the game with a 25-11 lead after one quarter and rolled to a 48-17 halftime cushion. Asher led 66-27 through three periods. Lindsey Garcia knocked down six treys and paced Strother with 21 points in a losing effort.

Team Records: Asher 20-5; Strother 7-14.

NOTEWORTHY: Stratford’s Cheyenne Weast fired in 22 points, including three 3-pointers, but it wasn’t enough as Elmore City held on a for a 53-46 decision over the Lady Bulldogs Tuesday night. Elmore City led 8-4 after one quarter, 20-15 at halftime and 37-26 through three quarters before Stratford made it closer with a 20-16 advantage in the fourth. Vanessa Cothren and Kathryne Alberson tacked on seven points apiece for the Lady Bulldogs in a losing cause. Three players reached double figures for Elmore City.
