CHICKASHA — With a Class 4A state playoff berth on the line Saturday night in Chickasha, Ada launched a mighty fourth-quarter comeback that fell just short. The game marked the fourth meeting this season between the 17th-ranked Cougars and No. 11 Harrah. The talented Panthers (21-7) came away with a 67-58 win and ended the Cougars’ strong playoff run.
“I’m obviously disappointed we didn’t make it to state,” Ada head coach Ron Anderson said. “But I think we accomplished more than anyone thought we would. We just let this one get away from us in the third quarter.”
