Roff boys fall just short of Class A State Tournament

Zach Snow topped Konawa with 11 points and Branden Davis, who sank a pair of treys, ended up with 10 points.

Wilson had a 20-12 halftime advantage and doubled up the Tigers with a 16-8 third quarter to lead 36-20, heading into the fourth.


Healdton 70, Konawa 41

Michaela Blakemore poured in 19 points as Healdton eliminated Konawa from the Class 2A regionals on Saturday with a 70-41 decision over the Lady Tigers at Latta High School.

Morgan Fletcher sank three 3-pointers and finished with 15 points for the victorious Lady Bulldogs, who jumped out to a 22-9 advantage after one quarter and cruised from there. Cara Worsham also knocked down a pair of treys and finished with eight points for Healdton.

Brittany West led Konawa with nine points while Dominique Lyon and Roshawn Warrior ended up with six apiece.

The Lady Bulldogs, who advanced to Thursday’s Class 2A Area Tournament in Byng, led 41-17 at halftime and 53-29 through three periods. Healdton then closed the game by outscoring Konawa, 17-12, in the fourth.
