It didn't take long for the Ada bats to light up the scoreboard and dispose of McCloud in the consolation finals of the David Hill-Ryan Prescott Memorial Baseball Tournament Saturday evening at Stokes Field.

Cougar pitcher Dalton Wolf scattered five hits over three innings before being relieved by Easton Pingleton in the fourth. Each pitcher gave up one run. Pingleton got McCloud starting pitcher Zach Smith to fly to Johnson in right field for the game's final out in the bottom half of the fourth.
