Whether you love him or hate him — there's not much in between — golf fans love to debate the future of Tiger Woods.
Will he ever catch the great Jack Nicklaus in number of major victories? Tiger has been sitting at 14 since capturing the 2008 U.S. Open title. For those of you counting at home, that means the current No. 1 player in the world is an astonishing 0-for-17 since winning his last major championship.
The most mind-boggling stat of all when it come to Mr. Woods is the fact he’s never come from behind on Sunday to win a major tournament. Not once. At last week’s British Open, he was just two strokes off the lead, and many thought this would be the year his major streak and his come-from-behind gorilla that is firmly attached to his back would disappear. Instead, it was Woods who disappeared, bogeying his way to a sixth-place finish.
